Every time the weather is particularly cold , France suddenly remembers that thousands of people live on the street . Only recently, one man died in Bordeaux, another in Marseilles... 327 people have already died this year in France .
It is estimated that 100,000 people are homeless in France, and 3 million people live in derelict, unsafe places , in run-down areas, in flats which are not meant for anyone to live in.

Contrary to the cliché of a drunken good-for-nothing, many homeless people are young, and some have a job.

Yes, there are homeless people in my city, I sometimes give them a money or food but my mom prefer gives them food instead of money because she think they spend the money in alcohol or cigarettes. I don't know how to react when I see them on the streets because homless sometime may be agressive and make someone hurt , but they just need help. I think that there are more homeless people in big city. In my opinion, we should help them.

Kolbuszowa is a small town so most people have own homes or flats. However I sometimes meet homeless people and this view is quite horrible. They sleep on the bench or on the ground. I’m a bit afraid of them but if I see that they need help I try to help them. I know that the homeless need money so I give them some occasionally.

Unfortunately, in Huelva there are a lot of homeless people.
The truth is that some of them are alcoholics. They spend the money in alcohol, so a lot of people don't give them money.. I think that it isn't just. Most of homeless peolple really need the money, so I always try to help them.

There is a lot of homeless people here, and I don't know how to react when I see them on the streets. I'd like to give them all of my money, but I don't have money enough for all of them. I'll continue dreaming of a better world in which rich people give their fortune to them...

In Huelva there are homeless people. Last year, someone killed a homeless man in Christmas, because a generous man gave him some money, and a night someone take him the money and killed him too. I remember that this man homeless was always in the same street, he sold some flowers or ashtrays and he wasn´t problematic.

I think that there are more homeless people in bigger cities and I have never met them exactly in my town. When I am in some big city and I see some homeless person I always try to help he/she. I give them some money so they can buy something to eat. People don't realise how big is tragedy of homeless people. They must fight with everyday problems which they face in the street or some station.It's not important how they became homeless it's important to find the methods of fighting with this problem.

In my city, there are not a lot of homeless people, maybe there are 5 or 6 of them. They looks very poorly, they are wearing scraffy and dirty clothes. They smells disguasting and they are sloppy. They don't have money for food and to pay the bills. Homeless usualy eats in the special place where they can get it for free.

I don't think that every homless are drinking a lot and for that they are in this situation. On the other hand, there are lot of people who are drinkers. They don't have money for everything with the exception of alcohol. In my opinion, we should help them.

I am a little scared of homeless people because of they appearence. Homless sometime may be agressive, but they just need help.

Sì, anche qui a perugia ci sono i senza-tetto, come in ogni città. Di solito durante il giorno non si fanno vedere, si nascondono, oppure vanno ad elemosinare davanti a qualche centro commerciale. Quando è sera, dopo le otto, le nove, iniziano a vedersi per le strade, oltre ai soliti tossicodipendenti, queste persone che vanno a cercare qualcosa di utile tra i rifiuti o semplicemente a vegabondare. Mi è capitato un giorno di vedere uo di loro proprio davanti alla mia scuola mentre aspettavo il pullman alla fermata, alle tredici. Quella scena mi è dispiaciuta ma non potevo fare niente. Era una persona sulla sessantina, vestita con abiti non così "stracioni" come si vede nei film; aveva la barba veramente lunga e aveva come uno zainetto, tutto rovinato. Ha aperto il cassonetto dell'immondizia e ha iniziato a prendere le buste che c'erano dentro, le ha aperte, ha guardato se c'era qualcosa che poteva ineressargli e se ne è andato, probabilmente diretto al prossimo cassonetto. E' inutile dire che queste persone vanno aiutate, ma questo compito secondo me spetta alle varie associazioni che sono attive nella nostra città.

Dans ma ville aussi il y a des sans-abris et ils vivent dans les rues et aussi dans les parcs.
Quand je vois ces personnes dans la rue, je sens beaucoup de peine parce que en plus en hiver il fait froid et ils ne peuvent pas s'abriter dans les maisons.

Anche qui a Perugia la presenza dei senza tetto è molto elevata e se ne possono notare facilmente per le vie del corso.
Man mano che ci si avvicina al centro e nei pressi della stazione ferroviaria capita spesso di imbattersi in uno di loro che chiede qualche spicciolo per mangiare il minimo indispensabile.
Purtroppo però, non tutti sono comprensivi e caritatevoli con loro e spesso capitano degli episodi di violenza nei loro confronti veramente orrendi.
Tempo fa ad esempio, presso la città di Venezia, alcuni ragazzi \\\\\\\\\\\\"si sono divertiti\\\\\\\\\\\\" a dare fuoco ai cartoni dentro i quali dormiva un senza tetto.
Fortunatamente i piccoli criminali sono stati trovati e arrestati, ma questo episodio resta comunque un atto gravissimo di violenza ingiustificata.
Le associazioni che si impegnano attivamente per fornire aiuto ai bisognosi come loro sono comunque abbastanza numerose e, soprattutto in occasione delle festività come Natale non mancano le offerte di vitto e alloggio gratuite.
